From 29th July until the end of August, the GP-led vaccination service based at G Live managed by local GP Federation, Procare Health will re-locate to George Abbot School in Guildford. The re-location is timed with the easing of lockdown restrictions and the phased return to hosting events at G Live.
The vaccination site move is an interim measure to allow sufficient time for Procare, with support from Surrey Heartlands CCG and Guildford Borough Council to find a longer-term solution to enable them to continue to deliver a robust vaccination programme locally.
The local vaccination service at G Live has played a prime role in our success in vaccinating so many of our local residents. Procare will continue to deliver the vaccination programme from the new location.
Sessions will be available weekdays and on Saturdays and Sundays throughout August; opening times will vary dependent on clinics. Parking is available at the site and traffic management will be available on arrival to provide guidance on where to park and how to find the vaccination clinic. Volunteer stewards will continue to support those attending the vaccination clinic who have various accessibility needs.
Vaccines are available for those who have a booked appointment but there are also opportunities for walk-ins. These sessions will be promoted locally and will also be posted on the NHS Surrey Heartlands CCG website.
